Setting groomer time to unavailable

If a groomer is going to be unavailable for a period of time on a business day then you can set the time to be unavailable in the Calendar. Follow these steps:


  1. Open the Grooming Calendar form if it is not already open.
  2. Click on the required day in the month view to view that day’s workload.
  3. Click on the cell in the calendar grid relevant to the required unavailable start time and groomer.
  4. Click on the Set Time to Unavailable button in the Calendar ribbon OR right-click and choose Set Time to Unavailable from the menu.
  5. The Groomer Unavailable Time form will appear and will be set to NEW mode. You can set the unavailable time to extend over a number of days, or over a period of time within a day. Make sure the end time field is set to the correct time that the groomer will be available again.
  6. Click OK to save – if instead you wish to cancel setting the time to unavailable, then click on Cancel. If saved, the groomers unavailable time will be displayed as greyed out.
