Editing a pet

In the Pet flyout:

  1. Locate the pet in the Customer/Pet List (you may need to click the small arrow to the left of a customer to view their pets) or search for the pet. Once found, double click or hit the ENTER key to open the pet flyout.
  2. Click Edit in the top right corner of the flyout to open the Pet form.
  3. Make any changes you require to the pet record.
  4. Click OK to save the pet record and close the form.

For the pet of an existing booking in a Calendar:

  1. Right click the booking and choose the View/Edit -> Pets menu option, OR single click the booking and click the View/Edit -> Pets Ribbon option, OR double click the booking to open it and click the View/Edit button next to the Pets grid. The Pet form will be opened.
  2. If the customer has multiple pets, click the pet you want to edit from the grid at the top of the form, then make any changes you require to the pet record.
  3. Click OK to save the pet record and close the form.

Note: If you change the pet Status field to “Changed Owner”, “Inactive”, or “Deceased”, the pet will not show up anymore in most pet lists and reports.
