Editing an employee

Follow these steps to edit an employee. If you are using the Network edition of PetLinx please note you cannot change the security level of the “Administrator” employee.


  1. Open the Employees form if it is not already open.
  2. If the employee that you want to edit is not displayed in the list on the left hand side of the form, then search for the employee. Once you have the employee displayed in the list, click on it.
  3. Make any changes you require to the employee record – the form will be set to EDIT mode.
  4. Click the Save button in the PetLinx ribbon.

 

Note: If you tick the “Is an Ex-Employee” field, the employee will not show up anymore in groomer lists and will not be able to log onto the Desktop Network or Cloud editions. If the employee is a groomer with future bookings assigned to them, you will be prompted to choose a new groomer to assign the bookings to.
