Setting groomer time to unavailable
If a groomer is going to be unavailable for a period of time on a business day then you can set the time to be unavailable in the Calendar. Follow these steps:
- Open the Grooming Calendar form if it is not already open.
- Click on the required day in the month view to view that day’s workload.
- Click on the cell in the calendar grid relevant to the required unavailable start time and groomer.
- Click on the Set Time to Unavailable button in the Calendar ribbon OR right-click and choose Set Time to Unavailable from the menu.
- The Groomer Unavailable Time form will appear and will be set to NEW mode. You can set the unavailable time to extend over a number of days, or over a period of time within a day. Make sure the end time field is set to the correct time that the groomer will be available again.
- Click OK to save – if instead you wish to cancel setting the time to unavailable, then click on Cancel. If saved, the groomers unavailable time will be displayed as greyed out.
